Our story
Physician-owned. Patient-focused.
Toppino Eye Care was founded by Dr. Mayssa A. Toppino, a board-certified ophthalmic physician and surgeon who completed her residency at The George Washington University and has practiced in South Lake County since 1997. For more than 25 years the practice has grown alongside Clermont — from a single-physician office to a team of two doctors and licensed opticians, all under one roof.

Our doctors take the time to listen to your concerns, provide a thorough examination, and determine which treatment or set of treatments would best serve you — then help you understand how each option will benefit you, and answer all of your questions.
The practice is affiliated with Orlando Health South Lake Hospital, where Dr. Toppino has served as Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery, and holds memberships in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, and the Florida Society of Ophthalmology.
